Coppering up for stuff so for sale is this "attic find"
Been up there for years, i think i bought it with a mind to restore and practice setting up and soldering electronics etc, i never did so i still dont have a clue.

Its a Korean made Kay "Gremlin" bass from the 80's in arctic white,  28" scale shortscale.
Its a bit of a project, but its mostly ok.

1- The fingerboard was painted and quite worn, id started to remove (not finished) with wire wool, and ive oiled it, itll need proper sanding, ive cleaned the frets up, but may need a good dress/polish.

2- Hardware- bridge is nothing special, maybe brass, but adjusts fine. The tuners are quite loose and pitted but work fine and stay in tune. It would benefit from some newer replacements, which can be bought cheaply.

3- pickup/electrics - a sticker on the back shows its fitted with a super distortion pickup 🤣 because thats what we all want. In actuality its a beefy sounding P bass sound. Ive cleaned the jack/pots and passive electrics, and they work fine.

Truss rod- i couldnt move it, but with a newish set of shortscale strings on, it has a medium action and is easy to play.

Theres a bit of paint on the body, but its all clean. Its very small and light, and perfect for anyone wanting a little fixer upper, or for a child to try which doesnt break the bank, before they have a gig three weeks later and ask for an Alembic.

Make no mistake, its not perfect and sold as seen, it works and theres no buzz across the range of the instrument.

I will post this to you UK only very well wrapped for £50 which by the time ive paid for postage will get me a pint of craft ale.

Paypal F&F please, or you cover the fees
