HeadlessBassist Posted April 18 Posted April 18 (edited) *THIS BASS IS NOW SOLD* Up for sale is my Ibanez BTB400QM, finished in transparent Blackberry. A really nice to play 35" scale, mighty sounding 18v active [with 3-band EQ and sweepable mid control] four stringer. These sound much better balanced than the SR series preamps. A huge, sonorous sounding bass with plenty of character. Some slight dings here and there, but overall a nice condition bass for around 20 years old. The top horn strap button has been screwed into a new hole right next to the original by a previous owner for some reason, but this can easily be filled/covered up and is hardly noticeable. Electrics all work properly and action is nice and low. The bass has been set up with no buzz whatsoever on any of the 24 frets. An old Warwick Gig Bag will be thrown in with the sale. Strung with brand new D’Addario 45-100 strings. Payment via cash or direct bank transfer on collection. Can deliver or meet half way, up to a reasonable 100 miles from DE7. ProjeKtWEREWOLF Posted April 23 Posted April 23 I bought one of these a few weeks ago; fantastic bass. Wide but really comfortable neck, and a huge range of sounds. Absolutely love it, and recommend this. Best of luck with the sale. 1

ProjeKtWEREWOLF Posted September 15 Posted September 15 Someone needs to buy this. It's an amazing instrument. 1
HeadlessBassist Posted September 15 Author Posted September 15 Thanks ProjektWerewolf! Yes, it's a lovely bass, and the sweepable mid frequency is especially useful. These were £8-900 when they were new. It can't go any lower, as this is now priced at exactly what I paid for it. 1

It goes all the way from a fat vintage tone to a snarling Ibanez metal sound. I'm after a 5 string BTB Multiscale next. 1
Tharsis Posted September 16 Posted September 16 Would you consider sending via courier or strictly collection only?
HeadlessBassist Posted September 16 Author Posted September 16 I can get a box from the local music shop by all means, yes. But you take the risk. (I've posted instruments before and suffered a huge loss, so personally I'm very wary.) 1
