New EP - all instruments played by me and for the first time all recorded by me!

I’m pretty pleased with these 4 songs I’ve just recorded. I played bass, drums, guitars, keyboards and did all vocals… which I’ve done before… but for the first time I also recorded it all. Normally I’d use a local studio but I don’t have time these days, so I have to do little bits here and there.

yes indeed! Good ear! 
 

it’s labella flats on that Hofner club bass. It’s weird, I’m used to going for a very aggressive roundwound trebly punk kind of tone, but on this particular ongoing project, I always feel like the bass sits better in the mix when it’s the hofner with flats. I bought that bass on a whim years ago and have actually used it for loads of recordings! There’s also something about it that just makes it so much fun to play these types of bass lines
