silverfoxnik
*** NOW SOLD - Thanks for all the *** Hi Folks I've decided to go for a Gallien Krueger rig, so have a GK head on it's way to match my 2 GK cabs. All of which means I need to let this fine Hartke head go. For those who know, it's one of the best value heads on the market, having some very good features for the money including Tube and Solid State pre-amps, graphic e.q., low & hi pass contours, compression, DI out, FX loop etc. It delivers 300 watts into 4 ohms and 230 watts into 8 ohms, so it's got a bit of punch!! It's in pretty good condition, the original casing being almost perfect and could be supplied in a flightcase for an extra £25 if required (see photos). All the features on the amp work perfectly. Last year, I had a the fan replaced but other than that, there have been and there are no issues with it. I've done about 50 gigs with it in a year , ranging from small pubs to large wedding halls and it's been fine in all those different circumstances. Because I DI into the band's PA as well, I've never had to push the amp to the max just to hear myself, so it's been well treated in that respect. Comes with all the original packaging, but not the manual, though I downloaded it from the website and can send that as a PDF if needs be. Viewing/testing is very welcome down here in Littlehampton, West Sussex if anybody is nearby and wants to check it out first which is always best if you can do that. I'm trying to avoid PayPal if possible, so cheques preferred and am happy to ship this to wherever, though obviously that will be an extra cost. Because Hartke heads don't seem to go very quickly on this Forum for some reason, I will be Ebaying this over the weekend too, but would obviously much prefer to see it it go to a fellow Basschat member if possible.. Am happy to answer any further questions, though hopefully, I've covered most things already. It's a great amp in that it's very easy to use and with the graphic and the hi/low pass contours, it's tonally very flexible and you can even upgrade the tube to further improve it's sound quality. silverfoxnik
Hi Silverfox, Any Idea on the shipping cost? Cheers, Jase.
Hi Jase Sorry for the delay - only just seen your post. Because it's got the vintage style casing and it's with all it's original packaging, it's heavy so I think it'll be between £15 and £20 depending on where you're based and what level of insurance is required whilst it's in transit. If you want to PM me more details I can get a more exact quote for you.. Cheers Nik
