These are 15” subs from JBL. They are fairly unique in that they are powered, taking a standard Line Level signal via XLR but will also take an output from an amp/powered mixer. So you can add then to a system with passive tops.

 

They feature level and crossover frequency controls and have a loop through function via XLR. They only accessories will be the IEC mains lead.

 

They are not particularly heavy at under 19.5Kg and easy to move with the built in handles although they will be expensive and difficult to ship.

I tried these out with my PA tops without any other processing and what a difference it made.
