BBE Super Charger vs T-Rex Fuel Tank

Hi y'all

I'm after a power supply for my pedalboard and have narrowed it down to the 2 above. The main things I'm looking for are reliable, noise-free operation and even power distribution. Hence I'm after something with isolated outputs and it seems the only ones that offer these are the BBE and T-Rex.

Before making a final decision, has anyone got any views of how these 2 stack up against each other, based preferably on direct experience or knowledgeable sources (ie muso buddies, not spec sheets or salespeople)?

Also, are there any alternatives that I could consider?

Look forward to hearing your views!!

Cheers :)

ps not wanting to denigrate salespeople.....
The Pedal Power II also has isolated outputs.

What pedals are you running, and are you *really sure* you need isolated outputs?
Pedals used are Sadowsky preamp, EBS Multicomp, EBS Octabass, EBS Dynaverb and Mu-Tron III+ reissue. Also thinking about adding a Subdecay Prometheus and EBS Bass IQ.

The main issues are that the Sadowsky really needs a clean power source for peak operation, and the Mu-Tron takes a whopping 24V to power up. Looking at bridging two isolated 12V outputs for the Mu-tron via a 'step-up' voltage adaptor - hopefully, for hassle and noise-free operation.

I know the Voodoo Labs PPII also has isolated outputs but, unlike T-Rex and BBE, it can't be used internationally (without mods), only in country of purchase, and one day I'll be heading back home to Australia - naturally, wanting to take back with me whatever I buy over here!!

Cheers
