Assuming you've opened the boot, you should be able to chase back the neck pickup and determine where it's wired. The pickup selector on yours looks to be a Stratocaster five-way unit affair; I'd assume everything goes through that and then into the onboard electrics. Dazed Posted March 12 Author Share Posted March 12 Yes it’s the 405 with 2 pickups. Couldn’t find a schematic for those online. The PO had a go at changing the output socket for an xlr and looking at the wiring has cut and joined a few wires. Hopefully the preamp isn’t damaged.
