I have barts is 3 or 4 basses including the 8CBP in a P i built.

I love it. Smooth and deep but it doesn't sound like my other P style basses. Doesnt get that P clang with the tone all the way on.

hey. Cheers for the response. Ive the 8cbp on its way to me. A friend offered them to me so I’ll try them and see how I get on. I can always go try the 8s after as they are in stock where the 8cbp isn’t.

Just injured my knee so everything is on hold.

How did you get on with:

- your knee

- The Bartolini 8CPB

Hey,

I totally forgot about this post. Knee is better now rehab prevented surgery. It was more to do with my adductor.

On bart 8CBP. I’m surprised I’ve had them for nearly 2 years. My bass is Asian ash with maple fretboard. The pickups are great l, especially with chrome flats. Smooth, creamy tone. The only way to tame the output and bass is flats. I really like nickel rounds so I’m thinking of letting these go and get the 8s or a different pickup.

You thinking of trying Bart’s?
