One of the things about browsing these forums is I regularly see things for sale that I used to have, and then realise I still have them somewhere! Hence I went looking for these, and found them tucked away in a drawer, still in the box.

 

This is the guitar version (which, of course, I bought just before the bass model came out!) but they work the same way. They're a fabulous gadget, but I found I just preferred making a racket through an amp and cab, and as I'm fortunate enough to have the means to do so, I used them two or three times and stuck them in a drawer. So they're as new, complete with instructions.
