It sounds 3D, open and huge and, as expected of Sushi Box, is very well made. It gives heft you my signal when not playing through an amp and gives a massive sound when played through a power amp/effects return. Comes with the Sushi Chef's legendary support (yes even on 2nd pedals, Nathan is very active on the Sushi Box thread on TB I don't have the original box for this, price covers delivery within the UK. It’s a pre 2021 model, so the mid frequencies are those below: 201 Hz 428 Hz 494 Hz 605 Hz 672 Hz 1.17 Khz 1.66 Khz 3 Khz "SBVT (Sushi Box Valve Technology) is my take on the Ampeg SVT preamp. It uses a pair of 12AX7 tubes to give everything from rich cleans to gritty distortion. The 8-way mids frequency selector switch adds extra flexibility, allowing the EQ to be tailored to exactly the tone you need. The SBVT is a little on the bright side making it a great fit for guitar, and the ultra-lo switch warms the tone up beautifully, making it a perfect tone for bass. The ultra-hi switch also adds an extra option for when you need to cut through the mix a little better.
