Ibanez - Rickenbacker copy

Recommended Posts

Hello Dave

I took the pick-up surround off the bridge pick-up on my Ibanez copy Rickenbacker and the connections came off. The wires from the controls seemed to be attached to a single piece of copper wire. Is this so? How do I re-attach the cable to the pick-up?

Thanks
Alan

Hi there Alan, welcome to the forum. :)

It might be worth your while shooting Bassassin a PM. He loves all things JapCrap and has restored a few Rickenfakers (though not as far as I know an Ibanez).

Oh, and stick some pics up in this thread - it doesn't exist until we've seen the pictures.
