woodyratm Posted September 4, 2023 Share Posted September 4, 2023 (edited) Hi folks. I’ve moved onto 5 and 6 string basses so this bass is currently not being used. I bought it new from The Bass Gallery in the UK at the start of June. However, when my tech installed the strap locks (in the proper way I should add), the paint appeared to flake on the upper horn. Not sure why, not sure if there was an issue before and the strap pin replacement made it obvious or something… however, my guys have sealed it again (sans one piece of paint that went missing at a band practice). Highly annoying. I have included a photo of this. (They have advised that the didn’t use a drill or electric screwdriver to screw in too quick etc so who knows). There’s no other marks on it. It’s been used for maybe one or two band practices before I decided to use 5s, and has not been gigged yet. The photos don’t show it well but it’s a lovely white pearl finish. It’s currently tuned to CGCF. I’ll include the strap locks too. Based in Aberdeen, Scotland but happy to ship.
