artisan
Edit- stuck 'em on & no problem what so ever 😁 I have just bought s set of EP Slap strings, the full synthetic set. My newly acquired bass is currently wearing Gut-a-like black strings, which I don't like at all. The EP's are way smaller than the old strings so the nut slots are too wide & deep. Will this cause me a major problem Cheers Edited August 8, 2023 by artisan
JoeEvans
I think the width should be ok, and I think (tentatively) that the depth should be the same for whatever strings you plan to use, unless you want to go from very high tension steel to very soft gut types, which might need a higher clearance than the steels.
