SOLD.

Price drop...£449.

Sorry, not looking for trades with this one.

https://www.basscentre.com/british-bass-masters/bruce-thomas-profile.html

Here's what they say...

BODY: Lightweight basswood custom body profile

FINISH: Gloss Salmon Pink, with natural headstock and tortoise-shell pickguard

NECK: Satin finish custom profile neck with 20 fret Maccasar ebony fingerboard

PICKUPS: Passive, custom wound, vintage style pickups with exposed pole pieces

BRIDGE: Vintage "Retro Roller"® bridge with knurled saddles for string width adjustment

HARDWARE: Original '60s style chromed brass flat-top control knobs / Bass "C" engraved 4-bolt chrome neck plate

STRINGS: Bass Centre Elites

EXTRAS: Premium quality Bass Centre padded gig bag included

Purchased just over a year ago. It's had only very limited - smoke-free - home use. The covers were fitted by KGB Music on the Wirral. Currently strung with a set of Bass Centre Detroit Flats.

I'd like to give you an idea of the weight but I don't have access to scales (it's no heavyweight though and I've had much weightier P's).

It's only up for sale because I have to cover ongoing garage bills for my ancient Yammy XV750.

In the past I've not had an issue with using insured courier delivery, but I don't have an appropriate carton/packing materials so it could do with being collected in person from Higher Bebington, Wirral.

* now have suitable packing material so courier delivery is a possibility.

Cheers, peeps.

  • Scott S changed the title to The Bruce Thomas Profile Bass: Salmon Pink.

That’s a very cool thing, didn’t know they made them!

I saw him use his Fender, with Elvis, blimey, can’t remember…. decades ago, at the Manchester Opera House, CAST were supporting I remember.

Up there with the British greats for me, along side Colin Moulding from XTC. They don’t get the recognition they should.
