A full feature set, wonderful monitoring for both input level and gain reduction, as well as a clean blend (hello parallel compression!), and a side chain input/loop make for an incredible compressor with all the control you could ever want, as well making compression something easy to understand and visualise. The side chain feature works wonderfully - I have used this many times for live side-chain pumping off a kick drum, as well as using an EQ pedal in the side chain to help reduce compression to the low end.
