Charla Posted January 29, 2023 Share Posted January 29, 2023 Hello Having just acquired a CTM 30 to use as a practice amp (not sure the neighbours are appreciative?) the VU light seems to have dimmed with a darker part running across the centre (photo attached). When looking through the vents into the amp the VU seems have plenty of light around it. My question is is this normal or has the a lamp blown? I know VU lamp failure is fairly common with Ashdown amps and it's a purely cosmetic issue as the amp is working well; much louder than I anticipated.
