Hi there ,is there much difference between the 802 and the older 602 combo ? 
ie , different tone / louder or quieter ? 
Will you post to the Isle of Wight ( we are considered mainland by Royal Mail , we share the Portsmouth postcode )

Although l think they both have the same power amp, the 802 has a slightly lager enclosure & Bass port plus larger speakers so moves more air.  Although the 602 is great for home, studio, acoustic or small Jazz gigs, comparing the two - I would feel happier using the 802 for small Pub Gigs as it seems to have a bit more headroom than the 602 has.

 

Hard to tell a great difference in tone between the two apart from the 802 produces more bottom end than the 602, which is probably down to the physics of a larger enclosure and larger speakers. The newer MB 8” Neodymium speakers in the 802 arguably appear to be a tad stiffer / more ‘rugged’ than the B&C speakers in the 602, which arguably gives a bit more cut through in the mix - in my humble opinion of course.
