For sale is my Fender Original P bass pickup, an accurate reproduction of a 1962 Precision Bass Pickup with the copper shielding plate earthed to the pickup and thus to the jack socket earth. This classic split-coil humbucking pickup delivers powerful bass and clear high-end.

 

• Enamel-coated magnet wire for warm vintage tone
• Flush-mount pole pieces for even string response
• Alnico 5 magnets for more focus and enhanced dynamics
• Period-correct cloth output wire and fiber bobbin
• Includes pickup screws and springs

 

£50 including P&P to UK mainland

 

A well-regarded upgrade delivering the classic P bass punch, with plenty of positive comment on the web.  The pickup has been working away in my P bass for a couple of years and is in full working order with all the cloth insulated wiring in place.  For sale as I have decided to refit the original item to restore the bass to full original condition prior to sale.
