My mad experimental ska/reggae James Bond theme

Hi all!

 

I've been sitting on this for a while, as I try to figure out how to make an animated video for it, but I thought I'd send it out into the basschat world and see if I can get any thoughts or opinions. 

 

My original idea was to do a melodica cover of the Bond theme by The Skatalites, butit became something else entirely. I just kept having ideas, and crammed all kinds of things, such as a theremin, a marimba solo (I have a friend who is a convert marimba player!), a dub breakdown and some middle eastern vibes all into a track under 2 minutes long. I want to keep it short because animating a video for it will be a nightmare if it's any longer!

 

Now.... does it work? That's the question. Thanks for listening and thanks in advance for any feedback, positive, constructive or downright mean, I'll embrace it all
