Recording Ableton and Video

I'll try to make this as short as I can  I am trying to record my bass (using ableton) and video using OBS. OBS can recognise my scarlett interface so I can record video (logitech streamcam) mic and bass (via scarlett 2i2). Problem is it doesn't pick up ableton unless I move away from asio, then it picks it up, but I have about a second of lag which is unuseable.

 

I want to use ableton as I can add other tracks/instruments easily.   I wanted to ask the community for advice on this. Maybe use another software.

 

I'm interested in home recording for YT, but also streaming.

Can you not record it in OBS, then transfer the video plus sound into Ableton?

 

I know if you import a video and its soundtrack into Logic Pro, it automatically separates the two parts. I haven’t a lot of experience of using Ableton to record, I’ve only ever used it in a live situation.
