Hofner or Traveler short scale portable basses

Seems as though the job is about to put me back in hotel rooms for a spell. Pre-covid I traveled a lot, not so much now. Last week I sat in my hotel room in Dallas and pined for my Jazz bass. I want to take it with me, but what a hassle. Also, surely the baggage handlers at the airports will beat up my pristine 7ender case. SO!

I have searched a bit and it seems there are 2 players in the little 'portable' basses. Has anyone owned any of these tots?

The Travel bass is a very good bass with a nice tone. I have one that is only used while traveling and not gigging. They are a pain to tune. Have a nice bright and deep fender tone.  Medium scale bass. A good, well made bass overall. That is a good price.
