I have J-Retro for one day and I can say I like it a lot! I bought used J-Retro Dlx. from guy from BassChat (thank you man) for my Marcus Miller's Fender. Now I have to make new plate or order Marcus-Retro, Is the Marcus-Retro different than J-Retro?...thanks W.

Wimpy,

I've just installed a Marcus-Retro in my Fender Jazz. It's actually a J-Retro plate with the Marcus preamp that John East made to order for me and it is sweet.

From John East's info the J-Retro has the following EQ:

Treble: +12db@3kHz, -12db@1kHz
Bright: +8db@7kHz
Bass: +15db@50Hz
Mid/Frequency: +/-12db 150Hz-3kHz

The Marcus Retro has the following EQ:

Treble: [email protected], -12db@1kHz
Bright: +8db@7kHz
Bass: +15db@40Hz
Mid/Frequency: +/-12db 150Hz-3kHz

I'm lovin' it right now. :)
