donslow Posted June 15, 2020 Share Posted June 15, 2020 So, I’ve painted a couple of bodies and a neck with nitro (One just paint, one paint and clear tinted lacquer) which are currently drying/curing... I’m after getting a nice glossy finish. As I understand it, I need to sand flat with 1200 wet and dry, it’s the next bit I’m getting a bit confuddled with... how do I get a glossy finish?! increasingly worried about getting “run through” so a fairly hesitant to use an abrasive compound/polish, first time doing this really so a little nervous to say the least, can anyone suggest any tips/advice or recommend any products to use to get a glossy finish?! many thanks in advance Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
