Dood Posted March 12, 2009 Share Posted March 12, 2009 If by 'import' Tobias basses, you mean the Korean 'Pro' or 'Toby' basses, they are fitted with Mighty Mite hardware and can be gotten directly from them or through ebay, of all places. Having said that.. as Mighty Mite hardware is just a clone of 'other' hardware, as long as you have the dimensions to hand, you could go pretty much anywhere for your parts. The keys for example are a copy of Gotoh/Hipshot and many others will fit too, as is the Bridge. The pups you'll have a harder time with, as they tend to be an odd sized soap bar, but I amongst others preferred EMGs anyway. Mighty Mite pickups are 'ok'.. but really, just that. In short, if it is *your* bass we're talkin about.. I would go get the better hardware anyway... It makes a good bass.. great! I loved my 6 string.
