Peavey 1056 Sheffield speakers x2

Recommended Posts

Taken from an SWR Goliath Jr - but pretty sure these are Sheffield 1056-8's as physical specs all match up - definitely not eden or pas swr ones as they are pressed steel baskets. one has a tear on the voicecoil surround so needs a recone, the other in GWO. 8 ohm, no Peavey labels, only markings are 1056 and x4240. pressed baskets look a lot like eminences - I thought they were betas originally but the magnets are bigger, the magnets/voicecoil are not vented and the linear excursion seems a lot more, even though theyre only rated at 175w. spec below. £40pr +post sound fair?
