Bero Posted February 15, 2009 Share Posted February 15, 2009 Having buzzing/ earth problems with bass, have another post on here about it, going to go down the route of shielding all cavities, but before this is done while waiting on shielding, when i turn down tone pot buzz goes, was thinking about removing tone pot from circuit and just use two volume pots, has anyone done this before and what are the implications thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Mr. Foxen Posted February 15, 2009 Share Posted February 15, 2009 Almost certianly won't help the buzz, turning down tone just bleeds off the treble where the buzz is, so taking it out will mean you don't even have that option and will be stuck with the buzz.
