damo200sx Posted January 20, 2009 Share Posted January 20, 2009 Hi guys, just thought id say hello. Aint played for years so bought a cheap Bass (Ferris) off ebay to get started again. Used to have a Peavey amp with 15 inch black widow and an Aria SB1000 bought from a junk shop for £50 including case. Wish I still had that I can tell you. Why have they gone up so much in price over the last 6 months? I was on Eby last year and they were around the £300 to £350 mark, now I see some want over £800? Just got the Ferris bass. The action is 1.4cm at the 24th fret!! Wired up wrong, rusty frets and the truss rod wont turn. Not a good start lol.
