He's run into some financial problems and I've offered to sell this for him. Had I the wherewithall, I would buy it myself but recent purchases (including a new bass) mean that's not possible (or even justifiable), which sucks as it's pretty difficult to part with it. This was professionally upgraded and completely set up a year ago by Chris Ward at the now defunct Bass Center. He installed the pickups, new bridge and set it up completely, including levelling the frets. It practically plays itself and has to be heard to be believed. The tone through my MB 1x12 combo is just incredible. This bass lives up to and exceeds all the hype and mystique that surrounds JV Squiers and this is a superb example. Whether you like it or not, the value of this bass will only increase because of that. So down to crass money. My brother-in-law obviously gets the full amount of the current market value of this bass but the mods were done at my own expense so I'd like to recoup those or keep the new hardware. I have all the original hardware and it will be included in the sale, no matter what. I think I've come up with some realistic and reasonable prices. [b]For just the original bass: £620 With the BadAss II bridge: £650 With the EMG's: £750[/b] I would strongly recommend to anyone to take it with the BadAss or you might have to have to have the setup done again or trust me to do a good enough job. Comes with a year old SKB Freedom hardcase which has only every had this bass in it so fits like a glove. Has a couple of superficial marks but is in nearly new condition. Will also put a new set of string on for the lucky owner. I really don't want to post this, so pickup preferred and recommended. Will deliver for free in the Enfiled/North London area or at fuel cost to a reasonable distance around North London or Essex.
