Stompbox Posted April 6, 2018 Share Posted April 6, 2018 (edited) Fender American Standard Jazz 5 string Bass - in fantastic condition & original Fender padded Gig Bag and Fender strap with straplock buttons. A top quality piece of kit from Fender, the bass has had very, very little use, which is why I’m selling it. It's a well built “Made in the USA” instrument, serial number is N7298871 which dates it to 1997. Excellent tone and sustain, and a great maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard. It’s made in the original “5 on one side” layout of tuners. It's strung with roundwound D’Addario 50s to 135s strings, which are in good condition. The bass is in brilliant condition apart from a knock it took on the upper rear bout on the edge of the body – it’s in the black part of the paint finish and has been re-touched in - photo attached below. May swap for good American Standard Precision 4 string??? I’m in Royton, Oldham, about 3 minutes off the A627M link road at Junction 20 of the M62.
