tonyclaret Posted February 2, 2018 Share Posted February 2, 2018 Hi, I’ve had a USA jazz loaded with some Aero Type 1’s for a few years now and have loved the sound. I had no reason to question the noise I was making with them. Highly rated pickups. Recently I got re-issue Mexican Jazz with some decent upgrades one of which was the pickups, it’s loaded with some Nordstrand NJSV4’s. God it sounds good. Lots of bark and really makes me smile. So I’m thinking of trialling some Nords in the USA and do a bit of a comparison. Out of action for a while after a hand operation, so whilst I deliberate and torture myself of the possibilities I thought I’d put it out there. Anyone else experience of both, tonal observations?
