Ampeg B500DR

Recommended Posts

For Sale £350 + Carriage

Based in Godalming, Surrey if you wish to come round for a play.

Amp is in excellent condition, housed in a 2U flight-case. Like many people I've gone light-weight so this has to go.

I have the foot-switch but never used it - I was told when I bought it that one of the switches doesn't work.

Digital memory for your analog settings.

The Ampeg B500DR bass head uses a digital "front end" to remember your analog amp settings. This solid-state head has 350W output at 4 ohms and 500W at 2 ohms. Its 4 memory locations store your amp settings, remembering the settings for gain, EQ, effects blend, even which input you use! It's perfect for players who bring more than one bass to the gig. Dial in and save the perfect sound for each instrument and choose them with a button push. Even with one bass, the B500DR lets you automatically call up settings for R&B, rock 'n' roll, jazz, or funk. Each of the memory location is also foot-switchable with the included 4-button footswitch.

· 350W @ 4 ohms
· 500W @ 2 ohms
· 4 digital memory locations for saving analog settings
· 3-band EQ
· 4-button footswitch
· 19"W x 3-1/2"H x 15"D
· 32 lbs.
