Tried it out with the only bass they had on the wall and...15 minutes later walked out of the shop with a considerably lighter wallet! It's essentially an RC booster with 2 gain stages instead of the standard 1. It was actually the inspiration for the new RC Booster V2. These came either chrome or copper and apparently only 150 of these were made in each colour so they really are limited edition. I got the copper as it's just sexier IMO and a rare colour to see in a pedal. I tend to set the volume at unity and gain 1 at zero so I can just engage it as just an EQ, then dial in a gain boost on gain 2 (the little black dial) to kick in whenever I see fit. As is customary with the RC range this thing is transparent and very musical. This is a (very) reluctant sale but as I'm not in a band at the moment this beast isn't getting the love it deserves. Immaculate condition as you can see. £160 posted. Not looking for trades particularly but try me. A DOD Meatbox reissue may tickle my fancy...
