Sound great with my vox amplug 2 bass, but i can guarantee they work great and do not distort with a signal fairly generous in volume and/or low frequencies Their features are pro-level, you can hear and feel real quality when you put these on. From the Hi-Fi sound perspective the response of the HP100 is very linear. Very comfortable on your ears and quite stable too. Being closed headphones means they don't leak much sound around you. Perfect for practice but also for music listening, mind you that is not so common.
