As well as the usual range of sine, square and sawtooth wave shapes to play with, this one also gives you a volume/filter switch, which is essentially a LPF option. ‘VOL’ applies the tremolo effect to your whole signal, whereas ‘FILT’ applies the modulation effect only to your higher frequencies, leaving the low end (and thus the overall integrity of your bass line) intact. This really is an outstandingly useful feature, and has to be heard to be fully appreciated. Oh and it can do stereo panning, which is really head spinning. If you are already familiar with EBS pedals you’ll know exactly what I mean. If not, prepare to revise your understanding of the phrase ‘build quality’. This is on another level altogether. Everything about this pedal oozes quality and solidity of construction. This one has velcro on the bottom, and some of the original spongy non-slip material on the bottom (which I could never see the point of anyway) has started to come off; otherwise, it’s in immaculate condition. Price: £95 posted in the UK. I’m also happy to ship internationally at additional cost, depending on where you are in the world.
