Hi Tom, welcome to BC - and good to see another Force 30!

I'd say you got a bargain there, if you do sell, bear in mind you'll probably never see another!

Yours is the first one I've seen since the last post in this thread so no more new info so far. A couple of FB groups would be interested in seeing your bass, not sure if a Force 30's been featured before:

I also have a Washburn Force 30 Bass. On the headstock is in supplement the word »Chicago«. It is fretless with a good growly sound. May be it has been modified from freted to fretless. It has the number 842434.

I also no nothing about this instrument.

Here a video how it sounds:

Holy Multiple Posts, Batman!

Welcome (x11) to BC and to the thread, @pbmuenchen and thanks for the pics & video of your bass.

Always interesting to see another one - everything we know about these is in this thread, and unfortunately it's not very much! Mid '80s, made in Japan, probably at the Chushin Gakki factory, and a fairly uncommon model.

If there's more to be found out, I think the Washburn Guitars - The Golden Era group would be the best place to look!
