GreeneKing Posted November 10, 2015 Share Posted November 10, 2015 I've got a friends Cort at the moment and it's a bit sick. The 'funk' pre is gone and there's a wrong sized pair of pickups in the routes. The original Mk1 Bartolini's have 3 wires and a very high resistance so I'm guessing that they are active. From reading around the subject I think these may be licensed Barts as Bartolini generally make passive Mk 1's. Has anyone done any work on a 'Funk machine'? I'm looking for some correct sized passive pups and a pre amp for not a lot of money as the bass, although sound and very playable isn't worth a fortune.
