geoffbyrne Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 (edited) I took the opportunity & bought this as The Word on them was Good. And it was. It needed the bridge saddle lifted a little and the edges of the neck smoothed as they were a bit sharp, but that was all, really. I put a set of Status Black Nylons on it, bought a Feedback Buster and a long leather strap, plus the Thomann gigbag for acoustic basses. The nut could be a bit lower but I don't have suitable files, and there may be a wiring issue with the output jack, as it's eaten a couple of batteries in the last 3 months. Shouldn't be difficult to fix. It's been to one rehearsal where I found that we play too loudly for it to be useful. It's been played a total of three sessions. Costs to me were: Bass - £47 Gigbag - £38 Strings- £32 Strap- £23 Plus investment in time ti make adjustments & fit strings etc. I'd like £120 plus P&P. I have the original packaging and will use only TNT or UPS.
