So, after many years of looking at Bass players in Gigs and wishing I could play, I have finally bought myself a Squier Fender MB-4 and Hartke amp. I have two friends who are going to teach me the basics in different styles of music and I have the world wide at my fingertips and Denmark Street but a short walk from my office - for all the books I could need. I am reading up on how to read music [I learnt as a child but that was a rather long time ago ] and have had a few plucks and investigations of my Bass for sounds and such. As you can all see, I am a total newbie and would appreciate all the help you can give me. Your reccomended views, sites and where to start! Thanks all!
