Pedulla fretless basses are well known and sought after all over the world for their smooth and singing, yet pronounced and responsive sound, prefered by some of the top fretless players. And this particular 6-string is a wonderful proof of this reputation - construction-wise similar to the popular Pentabuzz and Hexabuzz models, but with its wooden upgrades a step up in quality (and price range).

The playability is excellent with low action. The B is strong and growly and VERY well defined which is not common for fretless basses. It is so easy to get a singing MWAH out of it as well as a Manring or Jaco-like staccato fusion fretless sound.

The bass is in excellent condition and you won't believe that it is from 1996 - no dings on the neck and body. As always on these boards the finish shows distinctly the use of Roundwonds, which I tried to point out in the pics. The board finish was chipped out on very small areas along the sides of the neck - also shown in the pics. But this is not affecting playability in any way and the board has plenty of life on it as it is.

Comes in its original hardcase and with the original truss rod tool.

Retail price of these models today is >6000 USD, which does not include shipping and tax. More info at http://www.pedulla.c...hunderbass.html
