I only recently purchased this bass and it has never been gigged by the original owner or myself. This is a virtually immaculate, 2010 Status Streamline 4 bass. The only thing that stops this bass from being immaculate is a very slight discolouration at the 'dusty end' fingerboard. It is difficult to see and I have attempted to shown it in one of the pics below. I have been in contact with Status and they confirm that this does sometimes occur on their Streamline bass fingerboards and is absolutely nothing to be concerned about, it doesn't affect the playability or the integrity of the fingerboard, it cannot be felt and is very unlikely to ever cause a problem. However, Status did suggest that an occasional treatment of WD40 would be of benefit and, if aesthetically displeasing, it can be 'stained'. To be quite honest, you can't see it when playing, it is difficult to see close-up and definitely cannot be seen from a few feet away.

The bass sounds phenomenal for its size! The controls are: blend, volume, stacked bass/treble and the two switches are series/parallel and single coil/Humbucker. It is 41mm at the top nut (from the zero fret) is a 34" scale, 24 fret and 19mm string spacing (string centre to string centre). It weighs under 7lbs and balances superbly. The Streamline can be strung with double ball end or standard strings using the small grub screws. The neck can be adjusted, although unnecessary unless you want to use extreme string gauges.

That is a steal. It even has the coil switching that I want. Unfortunately it's a string short for me or I'd be on my way over to grab it. BTW I have a Status that had similar marks on the fretboard. WD40 about once a year sorts it.
