Just had a John East 'flat response' pre amp fitted (£207) and the whole bass benefits from a pro strip down clean & polish and new pick guard & pickup screws fitted so it's spanking. Just had frets dressed & polished and set up with new Daddario 40-100's. Very resonant instrument that plays superbly well. The East Pre really opens up the sound and provides infinite tonal palette in conjunction with the Precision and Humbucker. Cracking Bass. Priced to sell at £600 collected from Sunderland.
