ZenBasses
Hey Just a quick one. The balanced output in my fafner 1 is broken. The clip that holds the cable in place was broken off some while ago by a careless band mate and this doesn't make a proper connection anymore. With a possible gig coming up I'd like to replace it. Can anyone advise as to which type of connector I would need? Many thanks Ben

Do you have a photo of the balanced output, so we can see exactly what it is you're needing..? A DI output is normally a 3-pin male xlr, and as such, has no locking catch; that's on the cable side. A photo would clear up any confusion. Any chance..?

Dad3353
This looks about right... Switchcraft Xlr ... There are other sources, such as Maplins, I should think. It's not difficult to find or change, but the fixing screws must line up. You're be best having it changed by a tech unless you're familiar with taking your amp apart and soldering/de-soldering. Hope this helps.
