Just add a neck and play ! - New Jazz body, nicely finished with Danish oil and wax. Really nice grain patterns. - Tonerider Jazz bridge pickup - Wilkinson Alnico V Precision pickup, these work very nicely together as a PJ. - Highest quality very solid Gotoh bridge (can't for the life of me find the model number), allowing full 3D adjustment of each saddle, AND saddle locking. String spacing adjustable between 18mm and 19.7mm. You cannot buy these any more. - Standard Jazz control plate, VVT controls. - Pearloid white scratchplate - subtlely small solid ebony thumbrest right where I seem to want to rest my thumb. Very comfy. - strap buttons, neck plate and screws. - Neck heel slot is the bog standard 63.5mm Fender width. I have had this set up as a whole bass and it sounds gorgeous, as good as any passive PJ I have ever played. However, and this is very shallow, I just can't bring myself to like the Jazz bass looks. It's a long while since I've had a Jazz and I just fancied one again but I've tried and tried and Jazz looks are just leaving me flat now. Not sure why but there it is.
