Basszilla Posted July 18, 2008 Share Posted July 18, 2008 Hey all I've got this ripper bass and it's a beaut. I love everything about it, the sound, the feel and the playability. However, the tuners I feel could do with being upgraded for more stability and accuracy. Not that they're bad or anything, but I just feel that a tuner upgrade would really seal the deal. Something with a high gear ratio and as lightweight as possible. Hipshots anyone? I was wondering if anyone knows of direct gibson replacements, tuners that wouldn't require any drilling/mods. I'm going to have to get the tape measure out and do some direct comparisons between tuners, but if anyone's got any helpful pointers, holla yo!
