RockfordStone Posted May 13, 2014 Share Posted May 13, 2014 (edited) this may sound a daft question, but is there anywhere where one can easily find a list of venues and promoters around the country? my band are looking to get out on the road a bit more and looking for venues and promoters, as I haven't been gigging in a while, all my usual contacts have moved on or given up. Old_Ben Posted May 14, 2014 Share Posted May 14, 2014 I think there will be promoter listings on specific venues websites with a "looking to play in our place" reference to point you in the right direction. There is also something called: "the unsigned guide" which has everything your asking for but they ask for a subscription fee, or for you to buy their book, which is full of contact details from playing pub gigs to label a&r reps.
