I've been playing with a new band since just before Christmas and now the line up is two guitars, keys, drums, vocals and your's truly providing the low end. We haven't been out gigging yet as we're still putting the set together but in rehearsals I've been using my contour and at half volume it's not clipping but the limiter is kicking in quite a lot. I'm not using an extension cab in the rehearsal room and I'm loud enough but should I be worried about this? It's pretty much everything thing at twelve o'clock on the amp, how are other contour users setting your levels? I'd be interested to hear your thoughts.
