BassInMyFace Posted July 7, 2008 Share Posted July 7, 2008 (edited) owen electronics bass gremlin unbelievable bass overdrive pedal, if u have ever tried a pedal that says it does "bass overdrive" u kno its rubbish and thin and nasty. this pedal is crazy good. loads of tone shaping with 2 different filter types, wet/dry mix, output level (for solo moments) AND 2 overdrive outputs AND a separate clean output for bi-amping lovers (u kno who u are). this is easily the best bass overdrive i hav ever tried, and there have been a few, there are so many diferent sounds u cant fail to find something u like. it really does give a warm, valve, overdrive sound. quite ampeg-y but so much tweaking is possible u can go for mild crunch (which literally nothing else available does without sacrificing the low end) right the way thru to full on rock distortion. really really versatile. just had a pot replaced by mr. owen himself who gave it a full look over so needless to say it is in absolute fantastic nick, brand spanking condition easy. no problems operationally at all. for any backgorund see [url="http://www.owenelectronics.co.uk/9939.html"]http://www.owenelectronics.co.uk/9939.html[/url] its british built and only available new via their mail order. great customer service (ie. for snapped pot replacement) and an amazing pedal. 126 quid new (altho out of stock on web site) absolutely loath to sell this pedal but needs must im afraid. kinda talked myself out of selling now so i was thinkin 85 quid? any takers?
