This is one of the best envelope filter / touch-wah effects pedals and this is the old-school classic analogue version of the QTron in the big old steel sheet case. Some say these have more funk and quack in them than the smaller pedals that EHX now produce. This does sound absolutely filthy!!

The QTron was designed by the great Mike Biegel who designed the mega-rare and ultra-expensive MuTron III filter, used by Bootsy and many other pioneers back in the 70s. The Q-Tron produces a very good impression of a Mu-Tron....as suggested by the name!

These pedals are getting increasingly rare and are excellent on both bass and guitar. You can select the band-width you want to effect, using the three-position Mode control, set the drive or dirt level and control how much Q (or funky quack) you want.

This pedal can run off a 9v battery or you can get a small converter cable to run off a standard 9v Boss power supply.
