gypsyjazzer Posted December 19, 2013 Share Posted December 19, 2013 I have a beat up old bass in need of restoration and I want to have it adapted for slap style .Do you know of anybody who has done this type of work before?To re-inforce the internal parts---re-inforce the neck---new F/B---all in all a complete restoration job. A normal bass can be slapped forever with no need for special re-inforcements, and any luthier can change a fingerboard and set a bridge for slap given basic instructions on what you need.
