chrisanthony1211 Posted November 3, 2013 Share Posted November 3, 2013 I love my old Japanese fender jazz, it's in very good condition for its age with just a few dinks and scratches. It was made in April 1982 and I believe it is one of the first jazz basses to be made by fender japan (serial number JV00044) the Japanese fenders from the early 80s are considered to be some of the best fenders made I actually had this one imported from japan. I have also fitted a Babicz full contact bridge but still have the original. The problem I have is that I miss my graphite neck from my status stealth which I sold some years ago, so would trade this beauty for a status, modulus, or vigier with a graphite neck.
